How mail-in repair works

Starting the request before you ship helps us match the package to the right customer and repair.

01

Start the request

Submit the device, problem, and contact information before sending the package.

02

Pack it securely

Protect the device from every side so it cannot move inside the box.

03

Ship with tracking

Address the package exactly to HTX MICRO #172. Keep the carrier receipt and tracking number until the package is checked in.

04

Inspection & approval

We inspect the device and contact you if the repair or price needs confirmation.

05

Repair & return

After the repair and testing are complete, we arrange the return shipment.

Pack it so it arrives safely

A phone, tablet, laptop, or console should not touch the box walls or move when the box is gently shaken.

1
Back up important data when possible

Repair work can involve software, storage, board, or power problems. Keep a backup whenever the device still allows it.

2
Wrap the device before it goes in the box

Use protective material around the entire device. Do not let the screen, housing, or ports sit against the box.

3
Fill empty space

Add firm packing material so the device stays centered and does not slide around.

4
Use a sturdy outer box

Seal every opening and remove old labels that could confuse the carrier.

Contact us before shipping a device with a swollen or visibly damaged battery.

After delivery

Carrier delivery is not the same as repair check-in.

After the carrier marks the package delivered, our team still needs to open it, match it to the repair request, and record the device condition.

Incoming and return shipping

Keep your incoming tracking information. Return shipping is arranged after the repair, testing, and balance are completed.

Choose a tracked service

Use a carrier and service that provides a tracking number you can keep until check-in.

Package for the trip

Damage caused by poor packaging can make diagnosis or repair more difficult.

Confirm the return address

We use the return address connected to the repair unless you confirm a different address.

Return after completion

The package is prepared after the approved repair, final testing, and payment are complete.

Mail-in questions

Before you seal the box

These answers cover the most common shipping questions. Contact the shop when the device or battery has unusual physical damage.

Can I ship without starting a repair request?

Starting the request first is strongly recommended because it gives us the customer information and repair details needed to match the package correctly.

Which carrier should I use?

You may use a carrier of your choice. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt and tracking number.

Should I include the charger?

Only include the charger, cable, or power adapter when it is needed to reproduce the problem or when our team asks for it.

How will I know the package was checked in?

Carrier delivery shows that the package reached the location. Repair tracking begins after our team opens the box and connects the device to the repair record.

What happens if the package arrives damaged?

We record the received condition and contact you when the packaging or device condition affects the repair.
